Ottawa’s controversial online streaming bill set to become law after clearing final hurdle in Parliament


Bill C-11 was introduced early last year in an attempt to subject streaming giants like Netflix, Disney Plus, YouTube and Spotify to the same regulations that already apply to traditional television and radio broadcasters in Canada.
